Dawn McGoldrick – Part-Time Community Fundraiser
Hi, my name is Dawn McGoldrick and I’m a community fundraiser here with ACT for Meningitis. Our team offer several forms of support throughout the country to people and families that have been affected by meningitis and who quite often in return wish to support the charity and help create awareness by holding fundraising events in their own communities. I help them to set up and run these events. I’m delighted to be a part of the amazing and hard working team at ACT for Meningitis and I’m excited to help the charity grow.
Sarah Lynch – Awareness Coordinator
Hi, my name is Sarah Lynch and I started with the team here at ACT for Meningitis in 2013. I was affected by meningitis in 2009, when sadly, I lost my best friend, aged 21, after her battle with the disease. This disease can affect people of any age. I wanted to use my experience with meningitis in a positive way and along with the others in the charity , I strive to raise awareness about this devastating disease through campaigns, awareness talks and in anyway we can. As the charity continues to grow we are reaching more and more people with our awareness. I’m very proud to be a member of Team ACT.
